Moving from Social Tables
Nothing to install and no account to start. The room you rebuild once is the room every booking starts from.
Save each room's floor plan from your current tool, one room per file. A PDF or an image of the plan is enough. If the room was drawn in CAD, keep the DXF too.
Open the free venue floor plan and upload the file. A DXF imports at exact scale with no AI. A PDF or photo goes through the AI importer, which places the tables, seat counts and areas for you to check; it is in beta, and the free designer includes two imports. Or set the room size and draw it.
Event Manager, £40/$40/€40 a month, saves each room as a template. Clone it for each booking, let the client seat their own guests, and export the floor plan for the setup crew. It includes 10 AI imports a month.
Verdict
Social Tables is a strong tool. It has 3D views, a large venue library and the rest of Cvent behind it, and a venue that already runs on Cvent has good reasons to stay. The catch is the contract: event caps below Premium, and a 12-month commitment on every paid plan. If you want each room drawn to scale and on your website for free, and every booking on one subscription you can pay month to month, SeatPlan.io does that without a sales call.

On its published pricing, checked 26 September 2026, the free plan is fixed at 3 events and 1 user. Venue Pro is $150 a month for 1 user and 50 events a year. Premium is $320 a month for unlimited events. Enterprise is quoted. Every paid plan is a 12-month commitment. On SeatPlan.io the venue floor plan is free, and Event Manager is £40/$40/€40 a month for unlimited events, paid month to month if you like.
On venue Pro and Premium, yes: professionally drawn floor plans up to 5,000 sq ft on Pro and 10,000 sq ft on Premium. On SeatPlan.io you build the room yourself. Upload a PDF or an image and the AI importer places the tables, seat counts and areas for you to check (it is in beta), or import a DXF at exact scale. The free designer includes two AI imports to try.
Standard is $49 a month for planners, capped at 15 events a year, on a 12-month commitment. SeatPlan.io is free to design, £8/$8/€8 once for one event, or Event Manager at £40/$40/€40 a month for unlimited events.

Yes, free. Draw the room, submit it, and after we review it by hand it gets its own page on seatplan.io. You can add a small View on seatplan.io button next to the room's photos. The button always carries the seatplan.io name.
