Are these seating chart templates really free?

Yes. Every template opens in the full designer without an account, and you can move tables, import your guest list and seat everyone at no cost. The printable PDF of each empty room is a plain download with no email asked. Saving the chart and exporting the seated chart as a PDF are part of the paid plans.

Can I edit a template to match my guest count and venue?

Yes. A template is a starting layout, not a locked drawing: add or delete tables, change the number of seats on any table, move the bar or the dance floor, and drag anything to where it stands in your room.

How do I add my guest list to a seating chart template?

Open the template, then import your list as a .csv or .xlsx file or type names in. Each guest sits on a specific chair when you drop them there, and a chair that still shows its seat number is a guest you have not placed yet.

Which seating chart template should I use for 100 guests?

Classic Rounds seats 98: ten round tables of nine around the dance floor and a head table of eight facing the room. If your venue serves family style, Long Table Banquet seats 82 on four shared long tables and a top table.
