Plans change after you’ve seated your guests — so pick a seated guest straight off their chair. Drop them on an empty chair and they move. Drop them on an occupied chair and the two guests swap: say Priya Patel takes Jordan Lee’s seat, and Jordan lands in hers — both still under Seated guests. Need someone out of the plan for a moment? Drop them on open canvas and they return to Unseated guests. The chair under your drag glows the same green either way. Watch it below, then try it live in the designer.

Grab a seated guest
Press and pull them right off the chair — it dims to half strength while you drag.
Step 2
Drop on an empty chair
The guest moves; their card updates its table and seat under Seated guests.
Step 3
Drop on an occupied chair
The two guests swap seats. Both stay seated — nobody gets bumped to unseated.
Step 4
Drop on open canvas
That unseats them on purpose — handy while a table is being rethought.

What happens if I drop a guest on a seat that is already taken?
They swap. The dragged guest takes that seat, and the previous occupant moves to the dragged guest's old seat — both stay under Seated guests. Nobody gets bumped back to unseated.
How do I unseat a guest without seating someone else?
Drag them off any chair and release over open canvas — they return to Unseated guests. Or click their occupied chair, which removes them instantly (see the Click to seat lesson).
Do I need a paid plan to rearrange seats?
