Special areas: design beyond seating

Place stages, bars, dance floors, and other custom spaces exactly where your venue needs them.

How to use it

  1. 1Click Special — the button in the toolbar.
  2. 2Give it an Area Name — “Dance Floor”, “Stage”, “Bar”.
  3. 3Choose a Shape — rectangle or circle — and pick a color so the area stands out on the plan.
  4. 4Click Add Special Area.
  5. 5Drag and resize the area on the canvas until it sits exactly where the venue needs it.

Move, rotate & resize

  • Move handle: drag the area to a new spot on the seating plan.
  • Rotate handle: angle the area to match the room.
  • Resize handle: drag the bottom-right corner to grow or shrink it while keeping its shape.
Name it, shape it, add it. The area lives on the same canvas as your tables — so guests aren’t seated in the dance floor. Animated demo with sample data.
